I play viola and, at least in the rendition of Canon in D that we played, the viola part was WORSE than the cello's. All I remember is having something like B half notes the entire effing song. I would've killed for that cello part. I guess it all depends on the arrangement... I love this video. It is simply epic.

I'm a bassoonist, not a cellist..but man do I feel sympathy for him. Boring bass parts, the bane of my life! Gives me plenty of time to practise my intonation and shizz though. (But at least mine looks like a bong!!!)
