A commentary that I totally agree with. Especially the movie on Derrida sheds a strange light on him. I find the film mysifying in a negative way, with all that background music etc. Anyhow, Derrida didn't make the movie. Maybe future philosophers should learn to renounce projects turning, posthumously, into a sort of cult. And indeed, as under almost EVERY video, in which someone is displayed sharing a thought, most people act in their primitve impulse to tell their opinion and dislike.

Well, simple: 1. the four chords in all the verses are the same as wonderwall, placed in the same way. 2. the drum rythm on the snare is the same as wonderwall on the verses 3. they also make an allusion to wonderwall in the first verse : "the radio is playing all the usual, and what's a wonderwall anyway? This is an amazing song. no doubt about it. It is very similar , musically, to both oasis wonderwall, and the beatles (dylanesqe) hide your love away... the lyric "whats a wonderwall anyway" was put in as a joke because they copied the chords. The video was apparently meant to relate to fran's childhood memories of walking to school.... and then i think they just got bored and decided to shove in the plane for a laugh....after a few beers or something...hahah *** dr zed

You could probably put Harry Chapin, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Jimmy Webb, Jim Croce, maybe Jim Steinman in there, in terms of musicians who were writers first.
