By: hezb786. on 05 Nov 08, 16:56:17
whats up everyone. i have a question in which i hope someone can help me with. i have been recently diagnosed with MS, and i no longer have the ability to work, for several different reasons. i have speech problems, memory problems, and physical problems. i am looking for someone who is from Ontario, Canada, preferably someone living in the Toronto area who can steer me in the right direction as to receiving financial benefits for my disability. how, when and where do i start. i appreciate it.

The breathing and swallowing; when that shuts off --even temporarily. IT FREAKS me out! The video is short and interesting.

Hevy6, you should think with your brain before you post such comments! Silly "scientific" thoughts like yours can hurt people! And when it comes to deadly diceases you should be really careful.

I only got diagnosed in July and it's bloody shit. I'm on Betaferon injections and I think I may be having a reaction cause I have massive bruising at each injection site. As for hevy's ridiculous comment about AIDS curing MS, you're just an idiot. If you knew anything about AIDS, you'd know it's worse than MS. It's life threatening and contageous.

this is awsome. it was so hard to understad MS, but after hearing this it makes it much easier! thanks for posting!

Crazy people on here
By: rainechosen. on 07 Oct 08, 20:11:56
I kinda doubt it, AIDS destroys the immune system, and the body can only suvive so long without an immunity, so if if AIDS cured MS, AIDS would end up killing us in the end anyway with the first common cold we catch.
By: hevy6. on 07 Oct 08, 11:40:42
i dident say what disease who is worst . my point was that aids mess up your immune systen (killing white blodcells and other stuff) so i thought maby AIDS can cure MS but AIDS is prolly just as bad to have. i dident mean to offend anyone
By: rainechosen. on 06 Oct 08, 22:06:44
I have MS, known for 5 years now, and even I'm not so bold as to state that this disease is worse an any other or that other are worse than MS. You just cannot compare illnesses. It's not right. All illnesses are hell in their own right.
By: tamaara7. on 26 Sep 08, 17:24:11
a relative of mine has got MS, i'm so sad. This disease is really tricky, cause u dont know when can u have an attack of paralisis or anything. Autoimmune diseases are the worst
By: hevy6. on 23 Sep 08, 18:18:27
hmmm seems you need to get aids to cure MS wonder what diesease who is worst.

If you have MS, check out LDN, Low Dose Naltrexone (google it). That's what I've been taking for 5+ years now, stable and NO progression since, according to my MRI's

thanks for the information and advice. I'm currently under treatment, and i feel very positive about the disease. Best Regards

Brain was fine. The cause of death was a longterm exposure to the worst variant of MS, the nervous system collapsed gradually along with her muscles, straining the heart until it finally gave in, this is what I believe. So yes, from my own experience, I believe that if left untreated, MS can be fatal. It is essential that you stay strong and positive, which is also how my mother survived for so long. There are also better treatments nowdays to make people with MS live normal lives. Best Regards

My mom has MS, and this is a nice video to help me understand what the disease is all about.
By: saco88. on 24 Jul 08, 20:05:19
i'm sorry about your mother, and i'm also sorry to bring it to your mind again, but i wanted to ask how did she die exactly? I've read the disease isn't fatal, so what was it? a failure to breathe? and one more thing: did she suffer "intellectual" damage? could she think clearly? again, i'm sorry i'm reminding you of this subject, but i have MS too, and want to know everything i can about it
By: jordandossett. on 20 Jul 08, 06:48:46
I have MS and this was a great video to help put it in simplest terms, but it is that. Simplest. I need a part 2 if anyone has it, just something that goes a bit further. I have had MS for about 10-11 years now and am on REBIF. I do have a blog where I talk about having MS at 6hundred50thousand (.com) and my personal site jordandossett (.com) but despite the size of the internet it sometimes feels really small on what I can find on MS. This was helpful!
