Not the slight similarity ? Well, simple: 1. the four chords in all the verses are the same as wonderwall, placed in the same way. 2. the drum rythm on the snare is the same as wonderwall on the verses 3. they also make an allusion to wonderwall in the first verse : "the radio is playing all the usual, and what's a wonderwall anyway? " Is that enough for you ? Still, great song by Travis. Oasis and Travis like(d) each other, so there you go.
