The do give you pretty strong hints. What Alan Wake writes about comes true, and you see some hooded men in one of the trailers. It's good that they let the goods be a surprise, else it wouldn' be so scary, would it?

thisis because gears was made on the 360 frist and they focused on it which made it so graphically impressive =o then ported to pc. this game is being made just like far cry....for two diffrent systems pc and 360 so who noes how it goes

Plus pc's can be changed around with graphics cards etc the average pc that can run FC2 with no extras would look the same

Gears of war 2 is around 80-90 percent of the 360s power at a guess thats looks better than Far Cry 2 personally far cry 2 graphics wernt all that clever not as good as crysis or gears it will have the same graphics as it has in the vid but the draw distance will not be the same as in the start of the vid :P

right, you do know this is running on a pc right? 360 still cannot have better graphics than uncharted 2, mgs4, killzone 2, heavy rain, god of war 3, white knight chronicles and so much more. face it, ps3 is good. dont get me wrong, i got a 360 too, and yes, the community on the 360 is better than ps3's
