I'm blown away by people who don't have the flexibility and freedom that I'm fortunate enough to have. The two-working-parent families who have to deal with sick kids and their own parents' failing health, and the other day-to-day stuff that gets in the way of what we all refer to, at times with hope and longing, as "normal life." How do they get by? How do they balance the needs of family and work when a crisis sets in? To every one of you who makes that work, you have my deepest admiration. And Faith, thanks for yet another great post. Hope you get through what sounds like a difficult stretch of work and deadlines. Amen to all of that.
